TAIPEI—August 19, 2026—ETHTaipei 2026, Taiwan’s annual Ethereum developer conference, will take place on September 13–14 at the Nangang Bottle Cap Factory (POPOP Taipei) in Taipei. Now in its fourth year, the event will feature a two-day program for the first time: September 13 is “Cryptonative Day,” aimed at Ethereum developers and the technical community, while September 14 is “Institution Day,” designed specifically for banks and financial institutions, covering topics ranging from core protocol research and on-chain finance to custody, real-world assets (RWA), and institutional-grade applications.
“Cryptography and the real world are converging, and it is the research and engineering behind it all that makes this possible. This is precisely the core of ETHTaipei 2026,” said Martinet of the ETHTaipei organizing team.
First Wave of International Speakers Announced
The first wave of speakers for ETHTaipei 2026 includes representatives from Polymarket (global prediction market), Uniswap (decentralized exchange protocol), the Ethereum Foundation, ChainSafe (blockchain infrastructure), LINE NEXT, CertiK (blockchain security), OneSavie Labs, Quantstamp (smart contract auditing), Across Protocol (cross-chain protocol), and PIF12. These teams cover protocol research, DeFi, cybersecurity, cross-chain technology, and consumer-facing applications, offering attendees cutting-edge technology and hands-on experience. More speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.
From Core Protocols to Institutional Finance
Cryptonative Day will cover protocol and core development, Layer 2 scaling, zero-knowledge proofs and privacy, wallets and account abstraction, DeFi, consumer and social applications, cybersecurity, and development tools. Institution Day will address topics such as institutional-grade wallets and custody, digital asset and smart contract security, stablecoin risk management, RWA and U.S. stock tokenization, AI agent-driven Machine Finance, and blockchain selection for financial institutions.
